ALMOND NOG 3 WAYS

I don’t know about you guys, but throughout the months of November and December when the limited-time plant based nog starts hitting the shelves I do not hesitate to stock up!

Plant based nog is one of the many cheerful and festive things I look forward to this time of year. As soon as I see it hit the shelves, I get super excited and giddy. I love how nowadays there are dairy free, plant based versions of egg nog— everyone can enjoy it! I always reach for Earth’s Own Almond Nog this time of year, their plant based nog lasts well over a month, so there’s plenty of time to get creative and put it to use over the season. In addition, their Almong Nog has been reformulated and delivers a more creamy consistency and that tasteful nog flavour you would expect. It’s also carrageenan free, soy free, and fortified with vitamins and minerals like zinc, vitamin D, and B vitamins. Plant based nog is also easy to make on your own— it’s comparable to making homemade cashew or almond milk. That said, purchasing nog when it hits the shelves is a Christmas season tradition for me. I am all about traditions this time of year! Do you have any special traditions that make this time of year so special? Comment below and let me know!

I personally like adding almond nog to smoothies, lattes/bulletproof coffee (so yum), and cocktails, and today I am sharing with you exactly how I do it! You can add almond nog into other recipes— pancakes, waffles, french toast, cookies, banana bread, icing, frosting, the list goes on… It’s also a great cream replacement.

These festive and healthified nog recipes I am sharing with you today take no time at all to make and require very minimal instructions/tools. They’re the perfect recipes to help you put your holiday nog to good use!

Note- I used dairy free Almond Nog in the recipes below, however, feel free to use whichever nog you desire this time of year.
