I’ve felt an energy to do a blog post like this one for quite some time now. This will be my last blog post for a few weeks as the wedding is creeping right up and I want all of my focus and attention to be in the present moment absorbing and enjoying every second of it! As I have been told by many, the wedding day will fly by before I know it. We will be flying away the day after our wedding for our honeymoon… in Italy! I’m so excited you guys! I have never been on a trip like this before, it’s my first major travel, and I come from an Italian background, I know… what’s wrong with me? Anyways, let’s get back to what I’m here to chat about today, SKIN!
I’m blogging something a little different today! My comfort zone is definitely talking about healthy lifestyle, self care, food, balance, recipe sharing, etc. I’m not a party planner, a travel guru, or an outfit queen, however, that won’t stop me from chit chatting about something different and stepping out of my comfort zone. Maybe I can some how mesh this post into my blog’s vibe?
Anxiety is something we can all relate to on some level. Some of us deal with it more than others, and in unique situations. When I go through shifts and changes like a new semester starting, or I know a big event is coming up, I can feel my anxiety slowly creeping in. At first it’s the nervousness of the unknown and then I catch myself and use my little anxiety busting techniques to help wash the worries away and remind myself that a situation can be as good or as bad as I make it up to be. It’s all in the mindset, and it’s important to keep that mindset strong and healthy as the long term effects of anxiety can cause a decline in our overall well-being. It’s beneficial for our overall health to find natural remedies for anxiety that get to the root of the problem so it can be managed effectively and not masked.
Have you ever heard the saying “Energy flows where intention goes”? This is one of my favourites, because it’s so true! Today I want to talk about manifestation, and how it can be life changing. Our thoughts release energy, and energy translates into how we experience things and shape our reality. Our way of thinking brings energy within us, and this energy will attract experiences into our life accordingly. If you think to yourself “I can’t do this… ”, you will attract that kind of energy which will feed that thought, and you simply will not feel you can do it. However, when we feed our thoughts with the opposite thinking, such as “I can do anything I set my mind to…”, you release an energy inside you that radiates positivity and confidence which translates into your life!
I get asked a lot of questions about my fitness regime, so I thought why not address it in a blog post? Fitness is a form of nourishment, and there are numerous ways in which fitness nourishes us. It can improve circulation, reduce the risk of diseases like cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, and type 2 diabetes, boost energy levels, strengthen muscles + bones, improve mood + mental health, and much, much more! So, let’s get to my fitness 5!
Cultivating a healthier lifestyle is not an overnight success, a certain food/supplement, or a quick fix. It’s something we should work at daily, and integrate into a lifestyle. What we do consistently is what counts, as opposed to what we do once and awhile. When you create a lifestyle around healthy living you begin to feel amazing, see long-term results, and live out a better quality of life. Continue reading “Healthy Living is a Lifestyle”
I love the feeling I get when my diffuser is going, or I’ve just sprayed a lovely therapeutic scent in the room, or when I stroll past Saje Natural Wellness in the mall (let’s be honest, there’s no stroll past, I always stop in). It instantly brings me to a sense of positivity and calm, a little reminder that everything is okay and to be present. Over the last year my love for essential oils has really grown. I’ve always enjoyed them, I just enjoy them on a different level now. Essential oils are healing, wouldn’t you agree?
