I’m so excited about this blog post! I’m feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready to get back to blogging, especially because my favourite time of year is here. The last month has been such a blast with all of our wedding and honeymoon celebrations. I am a Mrs. now! It feels so familiar yet so different at the same time. I can’t quite explain it, but what I can express is that it feels amazing to be a wife. I took the fall off from my studies to focus on our wedding and beginning a new chapter of our lives. Taking a small break from school was the greatest decision, it took a lot of pressure off of wedding planning and I was able to be fully present and focused. I’ll be back to school full time come this January so my blog posts will most likely become a once a week regime as school will be a top priority. For those of you who don’t know me, I am studying health sciences with a focus on nutrition. My goal and passion is to pursue my dream to become a Registered Dietitian.
Hello Monday! Let’s talk about Sunday for a minute or two. Does anyone else agree that Sunday evenings are the perfect time for baking? I like to dim the lights a bit, light a candle, throw on some of my fav relaxing tunes and concoct something delicious. It’s therapeutic and relaxing for me, plus it makes the kitchen smell amazing. Sunday evening is also the perfect time for some baking because it means there are some delicious + healthy goodie options for you and your loved ones to grab and go for the week ahead.
I’m feeling a festive Friday vibe today! If you know me well enough, you know my love for concocting nutritious smoothie blends and the season of fall. I’m sure you can catch on to where my inspiration for today’s post is coming from.
There’s nothing like a healing frothy cup of hot chocolate on a cozy fall day. You can be sure to find me sipping on a hot cup of something nourishing + immune boosting throughout the colder months. With the cold/flu season coming into full swing, I naturally wanted to share an elevated immune boosting hot chocolate blend with you that’s got a bit of a kick to it!
Happy Wednesday! I thought I would grace you with some guilt free chocolatey deliciousness. I love the way this recipe I’m about to share with you came about, and I’m sure a few of you can relate as to why. I had an avocado that was getting pretty soft… so I had to act fast… so Chocolacado Cookies came to life! You guys, this recipe is absolutely delicious and effortless. It takes no time at all to whip up this yummy batch of chocolatey goodness. I used my Vitamix for this recipe, however, you can easily use whatever you have in the kitchen to whip this recipe up. I find using a high-speed blender or food processor always quickens things up, and can sometimes be better for consistency purposes. However, it’s not always necessary!
Happy Monday everyone! It’s a new week, and almost a new season… which means I’ve been feeling all kinds of recipe inspirations and excitement! As the days continue to get colder, the drinks get warmer, and my love for this is strong. I have so many nourishing, warming, and delicious elixir recipes I’m excited to share with you over these fall and winter months.
