My Instagram Vibe

Vibrant and healthy afternoon delights with my Dad after our lovely nature stroll 🙌🏻. Blackberry smoothie bowls packed with all the nutrient love. 💜 - Serves: 2 Time: 10 minutes Difficulty: Easy - Base: • 1 cup unsweetened @earthsown almond milk • 2 scoops @vega_team protein & greens vanilla protein powder • 2 tbsp ground flax seed • 1 cup frozen organic blackberries • 1 ripened banana • 1 tbsp almond butter - Toppings, optional but recommended: • Banana slices • 2 pitted dates, chopped • 1 tbsp @organictraditions hemp hearts - Instructions: 1. Add all the base ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add more almond milk if your blend is not becoming smooth, add more frozen fruit if your blend has become too runny. 2. Transfer with a spatula into two bowls, add toppings and enjoy!
I don’t go far without digestive enzymes, they’re an essential on my list of supplements I like to pack when I’m away from home for more than a weekend. Travel, stress, change in routine, poor nutrition, and lack of sleep can all affect digestion, and ultimately our overall health and well-being. Whenever I’m away from home my digestion slows right down. I’m such a sensitive soul (anyone else?). This is why I like to supplement with digestive enzymes! They’re important for enhancing nutrient absorption and assisting the body with breaking down food. Supplementing with them can help take stress off our organs (stomach, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and small intestine). Digestive enzymes essentially act as catalysts that speed up chemical reactions, helping the body break down larger food molecules (proteins, fats, and starches) that are more difficult to digest into smaller particles for the body to more easily absorb into the bloodstream and use. When I know my digestion is going to be compromised (whenever I’m away from home), I like to boost it by supplementing with @gardenoflifecanada Chewable Organic Digest+ Enzymes after a meal to help relieve any digestive discomfort. 💚👌🏻 - Photo by: @madsthesedays
